Well, didn't win in the exhibition but I had a great time none the less and the painter that did win definitely deserved it. There was so much great work there, the show was an absolute feast for the eyes! And then there was a painting actually made by a horse that I hope to God was included for comedy relief, or else we all shouldn't be so proud to have been chosen. Actually the woman who brought the painting (a creepy little 90 odd year old waif that looked 15 from the back) came all the way from the mid west just for the show! She tried talking to me and I tried desperately to humor her. But after a while of hearing how great and smart this fucking horse was I just had to burst her bubble so I asked her if the horse picked out the colors. Her face dropped and she said, "No, well I guess I helped a little." I have so little patience for people like that. If you want to shit around and hobnob with artists, you had damn well better be one, or be there to buy something. I should have asked her why the hell she was there instead of her horse. This is the gallery that represents H.R. Giger's work for Christ's sake!

Anyway Pet Silva did an amazing job and everyone there deserved to be there. It was a pleasure and an honor to be included among the works of so many talented people, future juggernauts of the art world all!

Wish I had remembered to take pictures of the event to share with you all. Sorry.

I have finished the first page of a web site I am working on that I am very proud of. A commission from a musical outfit called The Half Life. I have thrown up the page for your viewing pleasure. Wait for the sound bite to boot before you do anything, and don't click the link as it doesn't lead anywhere.

Contact me with commission proposals.

Here's the link.

Enjoy!

Welcome to my web site. Enjoy your stay. Check out my gallery and I would love to read some feed back. I also have a page (as does the rest of the world) on MYSPACE you can check out.

I will use the news page (the page you're staring at) to let you know what's going on, exhibit dates, new works completed, and the like. Really no news right now, however I have six new paintings that are nearing completion and will appear on the "Artist's Choice" gallery page. I will announce their arrival here.

In so far as work is concerned, simply contact me if you have a proposition for a commission or project.
